African Leadership Megagazine selected Dr. Tedros as winner of the 2020 African Leadership Person of the Year.

London-based Zimbabwean telecom tycoon Strive Masiyiwa, billionaire Mo Ibrahim, and President of Tanzania John Pombe Magufuli have also won in different categories.
